I've been wondering.
The Iron Butt Association UK are supporting the Royal British Legion Riders 2010 Thousand Miler.
1000 miles, less than 24 hours.

Or it can be done whenever you want, just stick by the rules and keep the records they require.
I have to admit to being tempted. I did the National Rally in about '95, and racked up 750 miles in 26 hours, with very little motorway. I also swore I wouldn't do it again, but if the whole aim is to rack up the miles, then it would be easier than the NR was.
I have to say, I think I would prefer to not do it as a mass effort with the RBLR, but as a more 'private' effort. I'm not sure why, but that's how I feel. I could possibly be persuaded, though.
Your thoughts, gentlemen, please.
And no, I don't want to do it in February !
