There are plenty of ferries to Islay during the day. They are expensive at £58 return though!
We dont need to get the Portvadie - Tarbert ferry as we can ride there via Oban. It would save on ferry costs. Last ferry to Islay is at 18.00 hrs on a Saturday and gets in at 20.20 hrs..
All looks achievable to me!!
Anyone else - maybe in late September? Could be I am in Australia by then if the work situation doesn't buck up!!!
