Many aspects of the Phileas Winthrup College for Young Ladies have proved to be a big hit with the students, none more so than the poster of the Principal on the entrance gate. The Governors experimented with putting the poster out of reach, but Phileas found himself besieged on a daily basis, and insisted the poster be lowered to save having to run the gauntlet on the way to the office.
