The pressure grows on Medial Malleolus and his sticky-fingered grasp of his cheque for thruppence, and so he fears he may have to bid it 'adieu' at some point soon.
Apparently new houses cost money. A suggestion from MM that they just buy the double garage did not cut the mustard with MrsMM, apparently. The house has to be bought, too. MM nearly fainted when he was made aware that houses had gone up in price since he bought one in '88 for £14,750...
