Further to the 'secret greeting', after a conversation with one of the Curryttee members, who shall remain nameless (for now), when you roll up YOUR OWN trouser leg, this means fold the material in such a way as to cause the trouser leg to not reach the floor. I DIDN'T mean roll up on a bike, as if arriving somewhere... As you can imagine, rolling up your own trouser leg on a bike is mighty tricky and fraught with potential  disaster.
